Dr. Raimund König

Dr. Raimund König is a pioneer of the German private equity market. Since 1988 he has been responsible for over 60 acquisitions with a volume of over € 750 million within the small to medium sized segment ("Mittelstand"). Since 2001, Dr. König is Managing Partner of Grünwald Equity Partners GmbH. Prior to that he was CEO of TA Triumph-Adler AG which he transformed from a loss making typewriter producer with € 75 million in revenues to a highly profitable "Mittelstandsholding" with over € 700 million in revenues. In 1988 Dr. König founded his first private equity vehicle - IMM Industrie Management München GmbH - which he headed until 1994 when it was integrated into the TA Triumph Adler AG. Prior to that he was a Management Consultant with Bain & Co. He holds a PhD in law from the University of Munich and an MBA from INSEAD.
