Maximilian von Grundherr
Maximilianvon Grundherr started at Grünwald Equity in 2012.
As an investment manager he has accompanied all Grünwald's major acquisitions since he joined.
From 2013 to 2016 Maximilian worked as the responsible project manager and as the managing director of Geothermische Kraftwerksgesellschaft Traunreut mbH that runs a geothermal power plant near Traunreut, Bavaria, which it previously developed and built between 2013 and 2016.
Since 2015, Maximilian von Grundherr is managing director of marpinion GmbH, a well-established and strongly growing company in the health care communications business with more than 50 employees and an annual turnover of 10 m €. Maximilian is jointly responsible for the company's development from the start-up to the present day.
Maximilian also held various roles with Grünwald Equity's portfolio company Deutsche Energieversorgung GmbH (DEV), finally being the company's sole managing director. Under its brand name "SENEC" DEV develops, produces and sells innovative storage batteries as well as energy services. During his tenure from 2016 to 2018 Maximilian von Grundherr restructured major processes in R&D, production and customer support and ultimately accompanied DEV's successful divestiture to the electricity supplier EnBW early 2018.
Prior to starting his career at Grünwald Equity, Maximilian von Grundherr studied economics and philosophy in Fribourg (Switzerland) and Munich (LMU). He holds a bachelor degree in philosophy and a master degree in economics.
